  • People who are tired of going to the big box gyms

  • People who want a functional and holistic approach that improves their entire quality of life

“Since I started training with Drew, my proprioception has increased tenfold, I've learned to experience my body in different ways, and I'm proud to say that I'm in the best shape of my life.

What I enjoy most about training with Drew is not only does he make training incredibly fun and enjoyable, his deep understanding of the body and its functions are apparent in everything he has me do.

He is constantly using a variety of different movements and exercises that target multiple areas of the body simultaneously, with the intention of bringing strength and harmony within the whole body.

What makes the Soul Centered strength training method different?

  • It is trauma informed full body functional strength training involving:

    • Traditional Strength Training

    • Foundations training/Functional Range Conditioning (Techniques for chronic pain and decompression)

    • Polyvagal and trauma informed techniques

    • Yoga (Vinyasa and Yin)

  • Somatic techniques that help you build proprioception and interoception - this leads to embodiment and a healthier nervous system

“Working with Drew is hands down the best investment I have made for my physical / mental / spiritual health.

I love that I can be completely and authentically me in his presence, whatever that means, and he meets me where I’m at to help get me to where I want to go. He has helped me get incredibly strong, not only in my physical body, but —

I am stronger and more resilient as a parent, nurse, and human being since I started working with Drew.”

- Jenna Hardcastle

“I came to Drew needing help with training for an upcoming, crazy backpacking season. As an avid hiker and backpacker, this is my first time ever seriously training for the backpacking season and it’s been incredible.

Drew has been helping me work on my strength, balance and overall flexibility, which is essential with being able to do long miles and lots of elevation while staying injury-free when out on trail.

I love how Drew not only shows me what I need to do, but he also gives me the why I need to do it and explains how these exercises will positively influence my body and performance out on trail, both mentally and physically.

Each session I come in to see Drew, I always leave feeling way better in my body then when I arrived.”

Which training techniques are typically instructed?

  • Traditional, evidence based, weight lifting and body exercises to build muscle and strength

  • Vinyasa and Yin yoga, as well as other movement techniques, to help with foundations, flexibility and strength

  • Various somatic techniques to help you develop more embodiment and improved mindset (a key requirement for strength building)

“Words cannot express how appreciative I am of Drew.

He has helped me change my outlook on fitness from being a workout routine that I do a few days a week, to being a crucial aspect of my everyday life to create balance, relieve stress, and ensure my body and mind will be at its peak for the rest of my life.

Drew has created a program for me focusing on holistic strength and protecting areas prone to injury and pain, which has completely eliminated lower back pain that I have been struggling with for the past 10 years.

Meet Andrew:

I’m a strength coach who helps people build real strength in a way that supports the rest of their life.

My approach combines smart programming, movement quality, mobility, and recovery so training actually works in the long term.

I’m also trauma-informed, which means I pay attention to how stress, past experiences, and nervous system patterns can shape the way people relate to their bodies and to exercise.

My work helps clients not only get stronger physically, but also improve felt-sense perception so they can better notice what is happening in their body in real time.

Through that process, training becomes a way to cultivate embodiment, self-trust, and a deeper connection to themselves. I work with adults who want to build muscle, lose fat, move with less pain, increase energy, or simply feel more grounded and capable in their body.

I meet people where they are, whether they’re brand new to strength training or have years of experience. My coaching is personal, practical, and focused on steady progress rather than extremes. Through Soul Centered Strength, I help clients get stronger from the inside out.
